We have included information on each of the ingredients that we include in our drinks. We hope that you find these articles interesting. Please feel free to ask
additional questions.

We use these Ingredients in our Custom Drinks

Carbohydrates

  • Dextrose has a GI of approximately 100. This is very high.
  • Fruit Sugar (aka Fructose) has a really low glycemic index of around 22. This GI is similar to foods such as lentils and cashews.
  • Galactose has a low glycemic index and does not stimulate a large insulin response.
  • Table Sugar (aka Sucrose) has a GI of about 64 which is medium and about the same as beets, rice or raisins.
  • We use Organic Sugar in most of our sports drinks.

Proteins

  • Our Hemp Protein is "cool-milled" which keeps the natural enzymes alive.
  • Soy protein isolates are the most highly refined (in a good way) soy protein products available to consumers.
  • Whey protein isolate is the purest form of whey protein and contains between 90 to 95% protein.
  • Put bluntly, Chorella might just be the healthiest food you ever eat.
  • Pee Pollen is often referred to as nature's most complete food.

Supplements

  • Calcium is important for healthy bones.
  • Creatine is an amino acid derivative that's formed in the liver, kidneys and pancreas from amino acids.
  • Ginkgo biloba provides major benefits to the circulatory system.
  • Ginseng has antioxidant properties and is said to reduce fatigue, improve digestion, increase mental stamina and lower blood cholesterol.
  • Kola Nut Extract is a caffeine-containing nut of two evergreen trees of the cocoa family.
  • Athletes lose Magnesium through sweat and urine.
  • Potassium is responsible for regulating total body water and stabilizing controlled and automatic muscle contractions.
  • Selenium is a free radical-scavenging nutrient.
  • Sweat contains about 2.25 - 3.4 grams of Sodium per liter.
  • Vitamin C reduces the production of free radicals.
  • For thousands of years, native Amazonians have used the Guarana seed extract of the guarana berry to help maintain stamina and physical endurance.
  • Zinc aids in post-exertion tissue repair and in the conversion of food to fuel.
